Tinylytics Updates

Changelog June 28th — July 5th

changelog

A busy week — smoother onboarding, a fresher homepage, smarter content monitoring, a friendlier dashboard overview, spell-check controls, and new API endpoints for managing sites programmatically.

June 28th, 2026

  • Guided onboarding after signup — new accounts land on a focused welcome step that walks you through adding your first site. Your trial starts at signup, so you can explore straight away.
  • 💅 Create site form refresh — URL-first layout with https:// prefilled so you can paste and go.
  • Weekly email reports on by default for new sites — opt out anytime from the Omakase card if you prefer fewer emails.
  • 🐛 Content monitoring now ignores indieauth.com/auth links so IndieWeb auth endpoints stop showing up as broken.
  • 🐛 429 rate-limit responses from content checks are deferred and rechecked over several hours instead of firing immediate false alarms.
  • 🐛 Fixed broken-link detection for URLs in hrefs that contain apostrophes.
  • 💅 Removed the SSL “last checked” timestamp from the uptime screen — monitoring stays automatic without the extra noise.
  • ✨ Your name on your account — set it from the account page and emails from Tinylytics greet you by first name. No name? You still get the friendly generic greeting. Just as before. Carry on.

  • 🐛 Archiving a site works again when its uptime monitor has webhook deliveries configured. This more a behind the scenes thing, and archiving worked. This just cleans it up nicely.

July 3rd, 2026

  • Portfolio overview at the top of your sites dashboard — a quick plain-language summary of visitors across your sites for the current date range. Subscribers also see unique counts; click through when monitoring issues need attention.
  • 🐛 Spell checking reads more page text (up to 20,000 characters) and stops flagging typos caused by truncated excerpts.

July 5th, 2026

  • API v1 site lifecycle — create, update, and delete sites via the API, plus a features endpoint to toggle content and uptime monitoring. Check out the docs.
  • Monitoring issues on the dashboard — sites with open content or uptime problems show at a glance, with a filter to focus on health issues only. Just makes everything easier to find.
  • Spell-check issue controls — dismiss false positives, re-check individual issues, or recheck everything in one go. Ignored typos stay suppressed across all pages and not just where it was found.
  • 💅 API keys page is clearer in team accounts — owner-only notice and a switch back to your personal account when needed.
  • 🐛 Monitoring issue counts no longer include broken links with no status yet. This is just to make sure you see no false positives.
  • 🐛 Fixed the groups dropdown empty state for team account contexts. When you switch to another team, only owners can create groups, so this is clearer.
  • 💅 Removed the Ultra badge from regional uptime response times — the data is there without the extra label clutter. I don't like clutter. There is much clutter.

✌️❤️
